Ice Wraith Teeth - Serpentstone Island, The Alchemy Station at the College of Winterhold, or just go for a stroll in the mountains of the Winterhold Area. Vampire Dust - Any vampire lair is going to give good results, Movarth's Lair especially Invisibility potions are especially awesome because they sell really well and increase alchemy exp by A LOT. Note that these aren't ALL the invisibility options, just the simplest ones to find. The following ingredients will produce invisibility potions without an extra effect. Briar Heart - you can invade Forsworn territory, or see if the alchemy shop sells them.Elve's Ear: Hanging off many indoor ceilings.Red Mountain Flower - Just like the blue mountain flower, they're everywhere.HOWEVER, red mountain flower and elve's ear makes a lovely alternative. The reason I didn't include a fortify magicka potion recipe, is because the ingredients are damn near impossible for beginners to obtain.ĭifficult Recipe: Red mountain flower + briar heart Torchbug - Almost anywhere outside at nighttime.Large Antlers - Kill large deer and elk.Wheat - Almost every farm you come across grows wheat.Blue Mountain Flower - They're everywhere, but are especially abundant in Whiterun and Solitude.Recipe 2: - Fortify Stamina: large antlers + torchbug thorax Recipe 1 - Fortify Health: blue mountain flower + wheat They are worthless on a monetary and alchemy exp level, but they're a GODSEND on the battlefield. These two potions restore lost stamina/health, and temporarily increase your health/stamina bar by a certain amount. Essential Potions 1-2: Fortify + Restore Health/Stamina I have also included where to find the ingredients listed. This post is six essential potions you are going to want with you, especially if you are a beginning player. It is especially handy for the first ten levels because you can make potions that will save your life in a pinch, pay really well (like $86 per potion well), and it's a fast way to increase your exp and level up fast. I always max out my alchemy level with every playthrough I do.
